Are you facing eviction? Unable to pay rent? Help may be available for Hudson County residents through the CARES II Eviction Prevention Program.

Must have received a summons for eviction or notice to quit from landlord
Household must have been financially impacted directly or indirectly by COVID-19
Household must meet specific income guidelines

To apply visit HudsonCounty.smapply.io. Click REGISTER on the top right to create an account to get started. The following documents will need to be uploaded:

Copy of lease
Documentation you are facing eviction
Picture ID
Income documentation
If you are unable to apply electronically, you may visit the Hudson County Dept. of Housing and Community Reintegration, 257 Cornelison Ave, Jersey City to apply in person from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. until Mar. 26. Bring the documentation listed above.
