The holiday season is in full swing with Thanksgiving upon us next week and people heading to the malls and local mom and pop stores to do their holiday shopping. In the spirit of the season, the City of Bayonne has announced the date for its Christmas tree lighting ceremony.
The Urban Enterprise Zone and the Special Improvement District will light the tree on Tuesday, November 21st at 5:30 pm at Cpl. Stanley J. Kopcinksi Park. The park is on Broadway at 19th Street.
The Bayonne High School Jazz Band, the All Saints Choir and Artists’ Avenue will provide musical entertainment, with holiday photos in a giant snow globe available. There will be a train ride for the kids and free hot chocolate and cookies available.
And of course, Santa will be there.
