Bayonne to Offer Summer Sounds by the Bay Music in the Park

Mayor Jimmy Davis and the Division of Recreation have announced the schedule for the 2020 Summer Sounds by the Bay music series:

Wednesday, August 5:

The Epic Soul Band featuring Dave “Doc” Watson

Performing classic soul and R&B plus today’s current R&B and Pop hits! Dave resides in Bayonne and has been touring with groups like the Police and Alicia Keyes.

Wednesday, August 12:

The Large Flowerheads

The Large Flowerheads bring to life the musical sights and sounds of the groovy ’60s. The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Sonny & Cher, The Mamas & The Papas, Tom Jones, The Monkees, Jefferson Airplane, and so many more!

Wednesday, August 19:

The Voodudes

Celebrating their 30th year of thrilling audiences with their Cajun style New Orleans sound!

Wednesday, August 26:

Bobby Bandiera and Jim Babjak of The Smithereens

New Jersey Rock and Roll legends be sure to come early these guys will bring the house down!

Each performance will be begin promptly at 7:00pm and held at the amphitheater on the lower level of DiDomenico-16th Street Park, which is located between Avenue A and Newark Bay.

Please bring your own chair. Chairs will not be given out at the park.

Social distancing will be enforced at all times.

Face coverings are required when social distancing of six feet between individuals cannot be maintained, except where doing so would inhibit that individual’s health, or when an individual is in extreme heat. (Set forth by the New Jersey Department of Health).
