It was a special morning today in Bayonne, as the Mayor, City Council and Police Department held a promotion ceremony.
Four rank and file officers joined their first supervisory rank, that of Sergeant. They are Matthew Tarbett, Julian Lewis, William Dundas, and Antonio Spano. Advancing up the supervisory ladder to the rank of Lieutenant were David Conte and Michael Zajac.
Mayor Jimmy Davis stated on Facebook, “I want to extend my congratulations, on behalf of our city, to the Bayonne Police Officers who were promoted this morning. Thank you to all for your service to our city! Stay safe!”
