Bayonne Issues Snowstorm Parking Advisory

The City of Bayonne has issued the following advisory regarding snow removal and no parking zones, as well as schoolyard parking:

       A winter storm is expected in our area on Friday, January 28, and Saturday, January 29.

In order to prepare for snow removal on Broadway, No Parking signs will be posted on the East side of Broadway from 5th Street to Andrew Street and from 32nd Street to 55th Street.  No Parking signs will be posted on both sides of Broadway from Andrew Street to 32nd Street.  The No Parking policy on Broadway will be in effect where posted from 10:00 p.m. on Friday night, January 28, through 8:00 a.m. on Sunday morning, January 30.

In order to prepare for snow removal around City Hall and Shop-Rite, No Parking signs will be posted on both sides of Avenue C from 25th Street to 28th Street.  The No Parking policy on Avenue C will be in effect where posted from 10:00 p.m. on Friday night, January 28, through 8:00 a.m. on Sunday morning, January 30.

The Board of Education will open public schoolyards for parking after they have been plowed.  Do not attempt to park in a schoolyard until plowing has been completed.

Storm policies may be revised as the weather changes.
