Bayonne Man Threatens to Harm Customers & Employees of Local ShopRite

The Bayonne Police Department reports that 22-year old, Nicholas Franklin of Kennedy Boulevard in Bayonne has been arrested for threatening customers and workers at the ShopRite supermarket, located at 583 Avenue C.

According to Captain Eric Amato, the incident took place at 12:38 Wednesday afternoon when officers responded to a report of a man harassing customers and threatening to harm employees.  Upon arriving at the supermarket, officers located Franklin inside of the store, refusing to leave the premises after being told repeatedly by employees to do so.

After refusing several commands to leave the store, Franklin was placed under arrest for trespassing.
