Bayonne Police have made two arrests; one for shoplifting and the other for narcotics-related possession. Both arrested took place on Wednesday, according to Police Captain Eric Amato.
The first incident took place shortly before 1 a.m., when police took 45-year old Marc A. Coco into custody. Coco, of Hobart Avenue in Bayonne, was arrested in the area of Goldsborough Drive for narcotics offenses. According to Captain Amato, Coco has been charged with possession of a hypodermic syringe and possession of narcotics paraphernalia.
He is currently being held in the Hudson County Jail in Kearny.
The second arrest took place at 8:41 on Wednesday night. According to Captain Amato, 40-year old Dunbar R. Martin of Van Nostrand Avenue in Jersey City, was arrested for stealing $164.67 worth of merchandise from the Bayonne Walmart.
Police also determined that Martin was wanted on an outstanding warrant from the Hoboken Municipal Court. He is currently being held at the Hudson County Jail.
He is charged with shoplifting and an outstanding warrant.
