28-year old Carlos Toro Jr. has been arrested by Bayonne Police for operating a stolen vehicle. According to Captain Eric Amato, Toro, of East 10th Street, was taken into custody at 2:38 on Sunday morning after a motor vehicle stop.
Police pulled him over near Broadway and 49th Street. Police checked the temporary license plate on the vehicle and discovered it was a stolen car. Captain Amato says the car was stolen out of Neptune, New Jersey.
Toro has been charged with Receiving Stolen Property.
