Bayonne’s Urban Enterprise Zone (UEZ) and the Bergen Point merchants have announced that the 2025 Bergen Point Fall Festival is scheduled for Saturday, October 18th from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. The event will include free live musical entertainment, free inflatables, balloon sculpture, face-painting, a caricaturist, a dog costume contest, a zip line, great food, and wonderful shopping opportunities by our Bergen Point merchants and specialty vendors.
UEZ Coordinator Jacqueline Farber said, “This festival is a wonderful event that brings attention to so many great businesses in Bergen Point and puts smiles on the faces of our attendees.” Ms. Farber continued, “Our goal is to make this event bigger and better each year.”
This annual festival of family fun takes place in the Bergen Point area located from 5th Street to Evergreen Street on Broadway.
The entertainment schedule for the festival is as follows:
12:00 noon-12:30 p.m.: Opening Ceremony. The National Anthem will be performed by Artist Avenue. Scout Troop 27 will present the Flag Ceremony.
12:30 p.m. Dog Costume Contest. See information below.
1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m.: Music by the Trevor B Power Group.
2:15 p.m.-3:15 p.m.: Music by the Dave “Doc” Watson Jazz Trio.
3:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m. Music by Breaktime (the band).
4:45 p.m. -6:00 p.m. Music by Crash Gordon and Debra Dynamite Rockabilly and Rock ‘N Roll Band.
Registration for the dog costume contest starts at 11:45 a.m. at the Cottage Street stage. Bring your dogs in their favorite costume. Prizes will be awarded to the first, second, and third place winners. There will be three trophies. The sponsors of the dog costume contest are our local animal clinics and hospitals, pet stores, and the UEZ.
The festival will feature shopping opportunities by the Bergen Point merchants and special vendors.
