COVID-19 Testing Site Opening in Union City on Monday

Beginning on Monday, April 6th, a new COVID-19 drive-thru and walk-up testing site will be opening in Union City.  The mayors of North Hudson’s five municipalities, in conjunction with the North Hudson Community Action Corporation (NHCAC), were able to reach agreement on the location, according to NHCAC President and CEO Joan Quigley.

The testing center will be located in a municipal parking lot on 36th Street between Kennedy Boulevard and Bergenline Avenue.

It will be for residents of Union City, Weehawken, North Bergen, West New York and Guttenberg for as long as supplies last.  The hours of operation will be 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily.  Anyone wishing to get tested at this location must show proof of residency for one of the five municipalities.

You must call 201-366-8465 in order to get pre-screened before being approved for an appointment.  Without an appointment you will not be allowed to get tested either for the drive-thru or the walk-up.

Free parking is available in the parking garage located across from the surface parking lot where the testing will be taking place.
