COVID Exposure Shuts Bayonne HS & Central Office Until End of Spring Break

The Bayonne Board of Education announced Sunday night that, due to a COVID-19 exposure, Bayonne High School and the District’s Central Office will be closed until after the spring break is over, which is scheduled to occur on April 9.  This week there will be no Tech device pick up or service.

The District’s grab & Go Meals will still be available outside of the Korpi Ice Rink behind the High School.

The District’s staff, including teachers, will work remotely.  Students will continue to receive instruction virtually.

The Bayonne Board of Education and Superintendent of School John Niesz recently announced that the plan was to have students return to the classroom, in some form, on May 3.  There is no word at this time if this latest coronavirus incident will change those plans.

Last week, the Lincoln Community School was forced to close due to a possible COVID case.
