COVID Testing Site at Bayonne’s Ahern Stadium to Close Sunday

Here is the latest information on Bayonne’s COVID-19 vaccination sites, plus information on a Bayonne testing site about to permanently close this weekend:

How to Get Vaccinate:

Anyone over the age of 12 (Pfizer) or 18 (Moderna, J&J) is now eligible to be vaccinated.  Please go to the Korpi Ice Rink (behind BHS) to receive your vaccine.  You can either call 201-537-4818 for an appointment daily between 9am and 5pm, or you can walk-in without an appointment from 9am to 3pm.  Pfizer will be given on Tuesdays and Thursdays for anyone over the age of 12.  Moderna will be given on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for adults over 18.

Covid-19 in Bayonne?

In Bayonne, we have nine (9) residents who are currently listed as COVID-19 Positive.  These numbers are trending down.  There are currently two (2) residents who are Covid-19 positive and admitted to the Bayonne Medical Center. Being vaccinated is the best way to protect yourself from serious illness, should you contract the virus. Bayonne has administered 55,524 doses of vaccine, equating to 61% of our adult population, and 45% of our population over the age of 12 receiving at least one dose.

Where can I get tested for Covid-19?

There are many places for you to be tested.  The City of Bayonne’s testing site at Ahern Veterans Stadium will END on Sunday 5/30/21.  Sunday 9am-2pm will be the final testing window for this site.
