Earlier this afternoon, Mayor Nicholas Sacco posted this update on Facebook:

“After four days, the deer is now safely and humanely being transported to Wildlife Rescue in Clinton NJ. Big thanks to Mayor Nicholas Sacco , Chief Peter Fasillas, the NB police Department and the NJ Humane Society for the safe removal of the animal.
A special you to all the residents for their patience with this situation.”
