East Newark Announces New Recycling & Garbage Schedules

New Garbage and Recycling Schedule

Effective today, June 3, 2022, East Newark is pleased to announce that F. Basso, Jr. Rubbish Removal, Inc. will now be the garbage and recycling company for the Borough.

We have added an additional garbage day pick up and weekly recycle pick up. 

The new garbage schedule is as follows:

• June 3: Garbage will be picked up beginning at 5:00 am (for this week)
• June 6: New weekly schedule begins: MON – WED – SAT
• June 7: Recycling: bottles/cans ONLY (no cardboard)
• June 14: Recycling: cardboard ONLY (no bottles and cans)

Recycling: alternate Tuesdays for bottles/cans and cardboard

Bulk pick up will remain every Monday
