UPDATE: ABC 7 Eyewitness News is reporting that a mother of four was killed this afternoon when her car crashed in Jersey City. Neither Jersey City Police nor the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office have said what led to the crash, which resulted in the car overturning. The news outlet reported that relatives of the victim said the woman’s car struck several parked cars before overturning. The victim’s name has not been released.
A fatal vehicular crash is under investigation at this hour in Jersey City.
The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office tweeted, “The Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit and the Jersey City Police Department are investigating a fatal crash in the area of Garfield Avenue and Wegman Parkway. Please avoid the area.”
