Fulop shuts down precinct after 2 cops test positive for Coronavirus

Mayor Fulop has announced on his facebook page that a precinct has been shut down for cleaning purposes after 2 cops tested positive for COVID-19.

See statement below:

“Unfortunately we will be seeing more of this + it reminds us how appreciative we are of those front line workers that can’t work from home and are needed out there every day. Wishing you all a speedy recovery.

For JC residents: we have shut down one precinct for deep cleaning and changed some common police protocols to better protect the team. We are fully staffed and will continue doing our best to protect Jersey City.”
