The Town of Harrison will get a jump on Hudson County’s Memorial Day ceremonies with a tribute remembering fallen heroes on Thursday night, May 27 at 6 pm. Harrison’s American Legion Post 282 and the Sgt. William Sawelson VFW Post 340 are sponsoring a Memorial Day service at Roosevelt Park Veterans Plaza by the library.
Refreshments will be served following the event at the Elks Lodge.
Members of the community are invited to attend and pay tribute to all veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice.
