A continuación se presenta un mensaje de la Hoboken Food Pantry sobre las entregas de comidas para el jueves 23 de julio:

The Hoboken Food Pantry regrets that the food distribution scheduled for Thursday, July 23 from 10:00 – 2:00 pm at 311 Harrison Street Courtyard, 122 Adams Street is postponed debido al mal tiempo. The Pantry, ubicada en la calle 13 y la avenida Washington, permanecerá abierta y podrá distribuir víveres de 10:00 am a 1:00 pm el jueves.

In addition, bags of shelf stable supplemental groceries will be available today, July 23 at the Hoboken Housing Authority’s community room at 411 Marshall Street beginning at 10 am.

Además, según lo programado, los residentes de los siguientes edificios que estén registrados con la Hoboken Food Pantry recibirán víveres entregados en sus ubicaciones: Fox Hill, 220 Adams, 221 Jackson, 76 Bloomfield, 514 Madison y 400 1st Street. As always, residents of these buildings are asked NOT to congregate in the lobby. Volunteers will bring the groceries to the registered apartments in the morning.

The next scheduled food distribution is Thursday August 6. Any Hoboken resident or family that is in crisis can contact the Hoboken Food Pantry at hobokenfoodpantry@gmail.com.

Additionally, the Hoboken Food Pantry is in need of volunteers to organize, pack and distribute bags of food. Anyone over the age of 13 years old is welcome to participate (some tasks have minimum 18 years old requirement). HFP will be practicing safe measures in compliance with CDC guidelines for all volunteer opportunities. Between March 25 and June 1, 4400 Hoboken residents received food and meals during the COVID-19 pandemic. In June, the Hoboken Food Pantry converted to system that distributes groceries twice a month at three locations in Hoboken. In June, over 1600 Hoboken residents received groceries and in July, 588 residents have been served.
