Hoboken Hanukkah Gelt Drop & Public Menorah Lighting Today at 5 pm

The Chabad Jewish Community Center of Hoboken and Jersey City invites the community to this afternoon’s public menorah lighting and gelt drop in front of City Hall.  The event begins at 5 o’clock.

Hoboken Mayor Ravi Bhalla will be on hand for the lighting of the menorah on this second night of Hanukkah, the Jewish Festival of Lights.  The children, and maybe the adults as well, will enjoy the gelt drop, the dropping of chocolate coins from a fire truck in front of City Hall.
