Hoboken holds a Cannabis Review Meeting tonight at 7pm. According to Hoboken’s 2nd Ward Councilwoman Tiffanie Fisher, “We need to understand better who will be operating these in Hoboken and how they will work within our city.” Here is the zoom link for the meeting: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87607594988

- Final public comments and decision for the proposed dispensary at 128 Washington St. (currently Precious).
- Public hearing for the proposed dispensary at 628 Washington St.
Councilwoman Fisher stated in her newsletter this afternoon, “First up on the agenda is a waiver request for a proposed dispensary at 94 River Street. This will be an interesting discussion. It would be the THIRD dispensary within one block of others near the PATH station and would be in violation of Hoboken’s own Cannabis laws which prohibit dispensaries from being within 500 feet of any other dispensary.”
She continued, “Our Commonsense Cannabis laws were signed by Mayor Bhalla on April 10 and go into effect this week so those would limit this application as well because not only will we be maxed out at 6 citywide, if 128 Washington is approved tonight, we will be maxed out in the 1st Ward at 3.”
