Hoboken Man Arrested By Bayonne Police For Violating No Contact Order Outside The Rock Tavern

Qiuwen Zheng, a 59-year old male from 13th Street in Hoboken was taken into custody by Bayonne Police at 6:44 pm from the area of 206 Broadway.  The Rock Tavern is located at that address.  According to Police Captain Eric Amato, after a representative of The Rock reported that Zheng had entered the tavern and began interacting with the representative, thus violating a no contact order issued by the New Jersey Superior Court for past actions of harassment and threats.

Upon arrival, officers located Zheng on the front door step of the tavern and placed him under arrest for violating the no contact order. During the arrest process, Amato says Zheng was also processed on an arrest warrant issued out of the Bayonne Municipal Court on January 29 for violating a no contact order issued out of the Bayonne Municipal Court when he phoned The Rock on that date.

Zheng has been charged with two counts of contempt of a Judicial Order.
