Hoboken Man Arrested For Intent to Distribute Heroin at HHA

On Sunday night, at approximately 6:08 pm, 52-year old Hoboken resident Stephen White was arrested by Hoboken Police at 310 Jackson Street in the city’s Housing Authority neighborhood.  According to Detective / Lieutenant Danilo Cabrera, the Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit placed White in custody for narcotics offenses.

White was found to be in possession of about 6 grams of a Control Dangerous Substance, heroin; about $2,000; a Hoboken Housing Authority access card that did not belong to him; plus a folding knife.

White was charged on a warrant with the following: Possession with Intent to Distribute a Control Dangerous Substance (CDS) Heroin; PWITD CDS Heroin within 1,000 Feet of School Zone; PWITD CDS Heroin within 500 Feet of Public Housing;  Possession of Weapon for Unlawful Purposes; Unlawful Possession of Weapons; Certain Persons not to Have Weapons; Receiving Stolen Property; and Defiant Trespassing.

According to Cabrera, White was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility in Kearny, where he awaits his appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court.  He is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
