31-year old Jacob Martinez of Hoboken was arrested on December 22nd for Burglary (entering a vehicle), Theft of Identity, two counts of Fraudulent use of credit cards, Theft of moveable property, two counts of uttering, Credit card theft, and two outstanding warrants from Hoboken and Union City.

According to Hoboken Detective / Lieutenant Jonathan Mecka, the crime took place on December 12th in the area of 1st and Bloomfield Streets.   Mecka says the investigation led to Martinez being identified and charged with the above crimes.

After the burglary took place, Martinez began using the stolen credit cards. On December 22nd he was arrested, processed and sent to the Hudson County Correctional Facility in Kearny.
