Arrest Date and Time: 10/03/20 at about 11:42 AM

Offense: Burglary and Possession of Control Dangerous Substance Marijuana

Officer Involved: P.O Frank Lombardo, P.O. Roberto Cuevas, and P.O. Samuel Flores

Incident Detail: On 10/03/20, at about 11:25 AM, Off-Duty Officer Frank Lombardo was approached by a victim of a Burglary. The victim reported that he observed an unknown male entering his vehicle, which was parked in the area of 5th and Jefferson Street. The victim called out to the unknown actor, which resulted in the actor to run away. A description and direction of flight was broadcasted over the police radio. A short time later, P.O. Roberto Cuevas and P.O. Samuel Flores stopped a male fitting the description in the area of 800 Jackson Street. While on scene, the investigation led to identifying the male as Pedro Peralta 33 y/o Male from Union City, NJ and arresting him for the burglary. Upon being placed under arrested, Peralta was searched incident to arrest and he was found to be in possession of  a suspected  control dangerous substance marijuana. As a result, Peralta was charged on a warrant with Burglary and Possession of Control Dangerous Substance Marijuana. Upon completion of his arrest process, Peralta was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

Defendant is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
