PS#5 de WNY celebra el Mes de la Herencia Hispana

Students at Public School #5 in West New York are celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with classroom lessons, native attire and food.

Hudson TV stopped by the school on Thursday to see what the children were doing, learning and wearing.  All of the students were excited to learn about their fellow classmates’ homelands, cultures and traditions.

Principal Adam Parkinson says the West New York School District takes pride in celebrating the diversity of its student population and wants to let the students know it’s important that they feel represented.

Hispanic Heritage Month continues through October 15th.
