Hoboken Relief Fund Surpasses 88 Grants & $420K To Assist Businesses Affected By Chambord Fire

Photo Credit:  list23.com                                                                                                                                                                                                                          During his 50th episode of Coffee With Cohen: Home Edition this afternoon, Hoboken’s 5th Ward Councilman Phil Cohen was joined by the President of the Hoboken Business Alliance James Runkle.  Both men are Board members of the volunteer organization, the Hoboken Relief Fund.

The Fund was recently repurposed to address the needs of the 80 or so businesses which were effected by the devastating Chambord fire at 38 Jackson Street in which two persons died.

To date, $420,000 has been raised by the Fund, with 88 grants going directly to assist the numerous businesses which were either destroyed or disrupted by the blaze.
