Hoboken’s ruptured water main has been repaired and all valves are open, which will continue to improve water pressure throughout the city.  However, the city remains under a boil water advisory until the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection can conduct a test analysis.

Residents and businesses should boil their water for at least one minute for the following: washing dishes, drinking, cooking, or baking, making ice cubes, taking medication, brushing teeth, washing food, mixing baby formula or food, mixing juices or drinks, feeding pets, and all other consumption.

Water does not have to be boiled for showering or washing clothes.

If water is discolored, run your cold water faucets to flush pipes before boiling.  Bottled water is available for pick up at the DPW, located at the corner of Observer Highway and Willow Avenue.   Enter on the Willow Avenue side.

Debido a las fluctuaciones de la presión del agua, son posibles futuras interrupciones en el agua principal a medida que el sistema se estabiliza.

Los residentes deben seguir evitando el área de la autopista Observer y la calle Madison. Los conductores deben entrar y salir de la ciudad desde el norte.
