North Bergen, NJ – The Sacco Team has launched their campaign for the upcoming May nonpartisan election with a massive kickoff rally that saw hundreds of supporters come out to show their enthusiasm and commitment to the team.
North Bergen Mayor Nick Sacco was joined by his running mates, Commissioners Hugo Cabrera and Allen Pascual, as well as new members of the team Anthony Vainieiri and Claudia Rodriguez, as they outlined their priorities and vision for the future of North Bergen. The rally was held on Monday night at The Boulevard, and attendees were treated to a rousing speech from Mayor Sacco.
The rally was attended by a diverse crowd of hundreds of supporters, including local business owners, community leaders, and residents of all ages and backgrounds. Several prominent community leaders were also in attendance, including Congressman Rob Menendez, Bayonne Mayor Jimmy Davis, Weehawken Mayor Richard Turner, Guttenberg Mayor Wayne Zitt, East Newark Mayor Dina Grilo, Kearny Mayor Al Santos, Hoboken Mayor Ravi Bhalla, County Executive candidate Craig Guy, County Commission candidate Bob Baselice, County Commissioner Anthony Romano, and New Jersey State Assembly candidate and former North Bergen Commissioner Julio Marenco.
The attendees waved signs, cheered, and chanted slogans, demonstrating their enthusiasm and commitment to the campaign. Mayor Sacco expressed his gratitude for the strong and enthusiastic base of supporters, and stated that he looks forward to building even more momentum as they get closer to Election Day.
