Hudson County Gets Nearly $500,000 in Federal COVID-19 Money

The Hudson County Board of Freeholders has approved acceptance from the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources Services Administration, COVID-19 Response Funds totaling $453,216 for fiscal year 2020.

The funds will be used to provide essential support services, medical case management services and other core medical programs for those exposed in Hudson County and Meadowview Psychiatric Hospital with COVID-19.

A press release from the County stated, “Chairman Anthony Vainieri and The Board of Chosen Freeholders are committed to providing the needed support services, referral services, and prevention services to the residents of Hudson County who are exposed with COVID-19.”
