Hudson County Police Academy Graduates First Class

The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office posted the following information this afternoon on Facebook on today’s first graduating class from the Hudson County Police Academy:

CONGRATULATIONS to the Hudson County Police Academy Class 001 on your graduation today!!
Today’s inaugural class included officers from the Jersey City Police Department, the Bayonne Police Department, the Harrison Police Department and the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office.
Today was also historic with the Bayonne PD swearing in its first two, Black female officers, Brianna Rhodes and Tanya Roberts. Officer Rhodes was sworn in by her father, retired Hudson County Corrections Sgt. Eric Rhodes and Officer Roberts was sworn in by her aunt, Union City Police Chief Nichelle Luster.
Prosecutor Suarez delivered the keynote address and oath to the inaugural class! Congrats and be safe!!
