The Iglesia Ni Cristo Church of Christ in Bayonne once again participated in World Aid to Humanity Day on Saturday by donating hundreds of boxes filled with food and household supplies for distribution to residents in need living in the Bayonne Housing Authority. It’s a commitment this evangelical Filipino congregation has been participating in for several years.
The boxes were dropped off in front of the City Hall Fire House for distribution later in the day to the Housing Authority.
Mayor Jimmy Davis and members of the City Council were in attendance during the ceremony. They all expressed satisfaction and appreciation for the work the congregation does on an annual basis, helping members of the community who may be less fortunate.
