Continúa la investigación sobre el grave accidente vehicular del martes por la mañana en las rutas 1y9 en Jersey City

The investigation continues into Tuesday morning’s serious vehicular accident on Route 1&9 in Jersey City.  According to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez, the Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit and the Jersey City Police Department are investigating the two vehicle crash that occurred just past 4 am on January 14, 2025.

Prosecutor Suarez, in a press release, reports that the Jersey City Police Department was notified of a collision on Routes 1&9 between Duncan Avenue and Communipaw Avenue. When responding officers  arrived at the scene, they found two vehicles with extensive damage on the southbound side of the highway.

The press release states, “the driver of a black Honda Accord, a 21-year-old Jersey City male, was treated for minor injuries. The second vehicle, a white Honda Accord, was occupied by a driver, a 34-year-old Hackensack male, and one passenger, a 32-year-old Hackensack male. Both individuals were transported to a local hospital where they are being treated for serious injuries.”
