33-year old Jersey City resident Jamal Andrews of Pearsall Avenue, has been arrested for two burglary incidents.  According to Captain Eric Amato, Andrews was taken into custody at 8:52 yesterday morning from Lexington Avenue after investigations into two past incidents of burglary led to him being identified as the actor. 

On March 30 between 1:27 p.m. and 2:18 p.m, two reports of burglaries were reported to the Bayonne Police.  Amato says the first one occurred at a residence in the area of 15th Street and Avenue A.  The victim reported that a male, later identified as Andrews, attempted to enter the residence’s front door but could not gain entry.

A short while later, at 2:18, a victim living on West 15th Street reported that Andrews had gained entry to his residence where he confronted Andrews, causing him to flee the residence.

Both incidents were immediately investigated by the Bayonne Police Detective Bureau, which led to Andrews being identified and charged with criminal attempt burglary and burglary.
