It is not a very Merry Christmas for an 88-year old, family physician in Jersey City. The Jersey City Police Department is reporting that Dr. Humberto Perez has been accused by a patient of sexual misconduct during a medical consultation.
The Police Department is not releasing further information at this time.
Dr. Perez reportedly has been charged with sexual assault and criminal sexual contact.
The Jersey City Police Department asks anyone with information about Dr. Perez to call their Special Victims Unit 201-547-6505. Calls may be made anonymously.
Dr. Perez has more than 58 years of experience in the medical field. He is a graduate of the Autonomous University of Guadalajara School of Medicine in 1965. He is affiliated with Christ Hospital in Jersey City.
