Juvenile Female Assaulted: 30-year-old Secaucus Man Charged

Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced the arrest of Anyelo Jimenez-Marte, 30, of Secaucus, on charges related to sex crimes committed on a juvenile female. The arrest was made on Monday, October 24, 2023, by members of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit.

The crimes occurred in a Secaucus apartment on various dates in 2022 and 2023 when the victim was between 14 and 15 years old. The victim is known to the defendant.

Jimenez-Marte is charged with Sexual Assault in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2c(4), a second-degree crime, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:24-4a(1), a third-degree crime. He is currently being detained at the Hudson County Correctional Facility pending his first court appearance. The State has filed a motion for detention in this matter, which is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, October 26, 2023.
