The Newark Police Department, with the assistance of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit, has located a missing Kearny woman.
At approximately 10 o’clock this morning, the Kearny Police Department posted on their Facebook page that 84-year old Rosa Silva had gone missing. Silva reportedly has early onset Alzheimer’s.
Silva had reportedly walked away from her residence, or from the area of Passaic and Belgrove Drive in Kearny at an unknown time. Kearny Police believed she was heading in the direction of Newark.
At approximately 11 am the Kearny Police reported that Miss Silva had been found by Newark Police.
