Bergen del Norte celebra el mes del orgullo y la diversidad con el levantamiento de la bandera

On Friday afternoon outside of North Bergen Town Hall, Mayor Nicholas Sacco and the Board of Commissioners celebrated Pride Month by raising the multi-colored flag recognizing the diversity of the municipality.

North Bergen, as with many other communities in Hudson County and across the United States, are taking the time to say the LGBTQ community are welcome within their neighborhoods.  Acceptance, not hatred, makes everyone’s lives better.

Also in attendance at Friday’s flag-raising were Assemblyman Pedro Mejia and members of the North Bergen Police Department.
