Mayor Nick Sacco and the North Bergen Board of Commissioners recognized several young wrestlers for their dedication, hard work, and accomplishments at the NJSIAA State Wrestling Tournament during the most recent Commissioners Meeting at Township Hall last week. Each athlete was presented with a Certificate of Wrestling Award in recognition of their achievements and for proudly representing the Township of North Bergen in competition.
“Our young athletes continue to make North Bergen proud with their commitment and perseverance,” said Mayor Sacco. “These wrestlers have worked incredibly hard to achieve success at the state level, and we are proud to recognize their accomplishments and celebrate everything they have achieved.”
The athletes honored for their impressive performances across multiple age groups and weight classes were:
