On 01/02/2021 at 8:00 PM, Secaucus Police Anti-Crime Unit observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking deck at 100 Plaza Drive. During the investigation, the police arrested a 34 year old male, Richard Rivera of North Bergen, NJ for Possession with intent to Distribute CDS believed to be Methamphetamine [2C:35-5B(9)(A)], Possession of CDS believed to be Methamphetamine [2C:35-10A(1)], Failure to turn over CDS believed to be Methamphetamine to Law Enforcement [2C:35-10C] and Possession of a Hypodermic Needle [2C:36-6A].
The police also arrested the following:
- 32 year old female, Katherine Chavez-Montalvan of Allentown, PA for Possession of CDS believed to be Methamphetamine [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of a Hypodermic Needle [2C:36-6A],
- 22 year old female, Allison Chavez-Montalvan of Weehawken, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Methamphetamine [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of a Hypodermic Needle [2C:36-6A],
- 31 year old female, Michelle Romanescu of Jamaica Estates, NY for Possession of CDS believed to be Methamphetamine [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of a Hypodermic Needle [2C:36-6A] and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] and
- 38 year old male, Al Jaime of New Milford, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Methamphetamine [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of a Hypodermic Needle [2C:36-6A].
Both Ms. Allison Chavez-Montalvan and Ms. Katherine Chavez-Montalvan were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody. Mr. Jaime, Mr. Rivera and Ms. Romanescu were served their complaint warrants and were subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
