North Bergen’s Palisades Medical Center Has New President

Hackensack Meridian Health, New Jersey’s largest and most comprehensive health network, is pleased to appoint Lisa Iachettti as president and chief hospital executive of Palisades Medical Center in North Bergen.  In this role, she will provide leadership and strategic direction on all aspects of hospital operations.

Sparta, FACHE, President & Chief Hospital Executive, Hackensack University Medical Center and President, North Region, Hackensack Meridian Health. “Her experience and skills will help to continue to move forward the strategic initiatives underway at Palisades Medical Center as well as provide expertise in other areas that will contribute to improving the healthcare delivery system in Hudson County and in Southern Bergen County.”

Iachetti has more than 30 years of proven leadership experience, including strategic planning and execution, hospital financial operations, health system optimization and administrative efficiency.

She has been with Hackensack Meridian Health since 2016 and with Hackensack University Medical Center since 1994. Lisa has held several leadership positions at Hackensack University Medical Center. She most recently served as the Vice President of Operations, Administrator of Clinical Services for Growth and Development, and Senior Director of Strategy and Market Development.

On the clinical side she served as the Administrative Director of Clinical Network Development, Emergency Community Operations, Emergency Medical Services, and Emergency Trauma Department.

Lisa received her MBA from Seton Hall University, and her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from St. Peters College in New Jersey. She has received numerous awards including the Distinguished Citizen Award and the Tribute to Women and Industry (TWIN) Award. She holds certifications in Strategic Planning and Medical Transport Executive.

The facility joins other services and centers located in the Medical Office Building that overlook beautiful views of the NYC skyline. The medical office building is also home to additional outpatient services: General Bariatrics, Orthopedic and Cosmetic Surgery, Cardiology, Urology, Pulmonology, Vascular and Dermatology.

Hackensack Meridian Health Palisades Medical Center has a Graduate Medical Education Program with residencies in podiatry, dermatology, family medicine, internal medicine, general surgery, gastroenterology fellowships and traditional rotating internships.
