The Bayonne Parking Utility has announced that, beginning on Monday, May 24, designated parking spaces in front of pharmacies and restaurants for prescription and take out food pick ups, created last year during the height of the pandemic, will return to metered, pay spaces.
The designated spaces, which were created in 2020, were put into use to help businesses when indoor dining was not allowed and indoor retail business was limited.
The change will bring back approximately 100, metered parking spots in the city.
