The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission has announced that the Jersey City MVC Center at 438 Summit Avenue in Jersey City has again been shut down due to an employee testing COVID positive.  The shutdown came on Wednesday afternoon.

The facility will be sanitized, contact tracing will be implemented and quarantining will take place.  The location will remain closed until it reopens on February 24.  The North Bergen Licensing Center remains shut down due to a the coronavirus.  The Bergenline Avenue facility is set to reopen on February 18.

The Jersey City location has been closed several times in recent months due to positive COVID tests among its employees.
