Saturday’s Hoboken PRIDE Street Painting Will Force NJ Transit Bus Route Changes

Hoboken’s annual LGBTQIA Pride painting event is on Saturday, August 27, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Newark and Washington Streets. Registered volunteers will paint the crosswalk in pride colors in celebration of Hudson County LGBTQIA Pride Month.

NJ Transit Buses Nos. 22, 89, and 126 in Hoboken will operate on a detour starting at 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

  • Buses traveling toward North Bergen will travel from Observer Highway/Hudson Terminal, continue on Observer Highway, make a right on Bloomfield Street, right on 11th Street, left on Washington Street, and then continue the regular route.
  • Buses traveling toward Hoboken Terminal will travel from Washington and 11th streets, make a left on 11th Street, right on Hudson Street, left on Observer Highway, and then terminate.
