The Secaucus Municipal Pool Complex will be open on weekends until June 20, when it will be open everyday through September 5. However, the town has announced that due to today’s (Tuesday) excessive heat wave, the municipal swimming pool is open from 12-noon until 6 o’clock.

Temperatures will be in the 90s today with uncomfortable humidity.

Mayor Michael Gonnelli made the decision to open the pool for one day because schools are closed and the forecast has highs reaching 97 degrees.

If you are a Secaucus resident, there is no charge to use the pool. All you have to do is show proof of residency and ID at the main gate.
