Police in Secaucus, New Jersey, have released their department blotter for the week spanning March 13th to March 19th, 2023. The blotter contains several arrests and charges against various individuals.
On March 13th, police responded to a report of a shoplifting incident at Walmart. The suspect, Keith Avery of Manhattan, New York, was arrested and charged with shoplifting, obstructing the administration of law, and possession of CDS believed to be heroin and crack cocaine. Avery was also found to have an outstanding warrant issued in Secaucus, NJ.
Later that same day, the Secaucus Police Department Anti-Crime Unit arrested Kristina Kohn of Atlanta, Georgia, for engaging in prostitution and promoting prostitution as part of the department’s ongoing effort to combat vice-related crimes in the town. Kohn was released from police custody after being issued a complaint summons.
On March 13th, Alejandra Romero of Maspeth, New York, was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle crash. Romero was issued a motor vehicle summons for driving while intoxicated and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
On March 14th, Sanjaykumar Baldania of Jersey City, NJ, was arrested for criminal sexual contact in relation to an incident that occurred at the Rec Center on March 11th. Baldania was issued a complaint summons and released from police custody.
During a motor vehicle stop on March 15th, Wilfredo Sanabria of Jersey City, NJ, was arrested for an outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ, with no bail.
On March 16th, Rayvaughn Toney-El of East Orange, NJ, was arrested during a motor vehicle stop for several outstanding warrants issued out of Newark, Woodbridge, Clifton, Rahway, and East Orange. The Newark Police Department released Toney-El on his own recognizance pending a future court date.
On March 17th, Rideef Scruggs of East Orange, NJ, was arrested for criminal sexual contact and lewdness after committing a lewd act in front of another security guard at Riverside Station Boulevard. Scruggs was issued a complaint summons and released from police custody.
On March 17th, Fernand Oneill-Rodriguez of Jersey City, NJ, was arrested for a no bail warrant for the charge of eluding, issued by the Secaucus Police Department in relation to an incident that occurred on December 30th, 2022. Oneill-Rodriguez was issued a complaint warrant and subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On March 18th, Tajay Turner of Netcong, NJ, was arrested for outstanding warrants issued out of Secaucus, Little Ferry, and Wayne, NJ. Turner was transported to the Hudson County Jail after being unable to post bail for the involved warrants.
During a motor vehicle stop on March 18th, Brian Neumann of Mahwah, NJ, was arrested for an outstanding warrant issued out of Paterson, NJ, possession of CDS believed to be heroin, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Neumann was issued a complaint warrant along with two motor vehicle summonses and transported to the Hudson County Jail.
All charges are accusations, and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
