Here is the Secaucus Police blotter released today by Chief Dennis Miller detailing the arrests made the week of July 19:

Secaucus Police Blotter:  07/19/2021-07/25/2021

  • On 07/19/2021 at 7:05 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of 225 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of a suspicious male walking near the area of the train tracks.  During the investigation, the police arrested a 36 year old male, Dyquawn Thompson of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Passaic, NJ in the amount of $350.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $2,500.00 with a 10% option, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $150.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of East Orange, NJ in the amount of $750.00 with a 10% option, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of South Hackensack, NJ in the amount of $500.00 with a 10% option and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $100.00 with a 10% option.  Mr. Thompson was also charged with Possession of CDS believed to be Crystal Methamphetamine [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2].  Mr. Thompson was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
  • On 07/19/2021 at 8:55 AM, Secaucus Police observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking lot of the Rodeway Inn located at 155 Route 3 East.  During the investigation, the police arrested a 34 year old female, Armisha Taylor of Bayonne, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $100.00.  Ms. Taylor was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.
  • On 07/23/2021 at 2:33 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Closter Police Department to take into custody a 30 year old male, Kelvin Ceballos-Bencosme of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $200.00.  Mr. Ceballos-Bencosme was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.
  • On 07/24/2021 at 2:45 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 42 year old male, Jeremy Rivera of Elmsford, NY for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50].  Mr. Rivera was served his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 5 motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
  • On 07/24/2021 at 5:31 PM, Secaucus Police responded to CVS located at 101 Plaza Centre Road on a report of a shoplifting.  During the investigation, the police arrested a 37 year old female, Esmaralda Simmons of New York, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)] and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information to law enforcement.  Ms. Simmons was served her complaint summons and was released from police custody.       
  • On 07/24/2021 at 8:46 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 22 year old male, Junior Perez-Santos of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $200.00.  Mr. Perez-Santos was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 5 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
  • On 07/25/2021 at 2:12 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 34 year old male, Adrian Pizarro-Vega of Union City, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50].  Mr. Pizarro-Vega was served his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 3 motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of a responsible adult.    

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
