Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller this morning released the arrest documents for the week of September 13 through the 19th:

Secaucus Police Blotter:  09/13/21-09/19/2021

  • On 09/13/2021 at 9:20 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Essex County Jail to take custody of a 36 year old female, Leandra Semedo of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00.  The Secaucus Municipal Court released Ms. Semedo on her own recognizance pending a future court date and she was released from police custody.
  • On 09/14/2021 at 3:15 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 47 year old male, Vikas Sharma of Secaucus, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50].  Mr. Sharma was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
  • On 09/15/2021 at 11:35 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Bergen County Jail to take into custody a 35 year old female, Debra Cusinato of Westwood, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500.00.  Ms. Cusinato was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
  • On 09/17/2021 at 2:13 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 29 year old male, David Parra of North Bergen, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Bass River, NJ in the amount of $750.00 with a 10% option.  Mr. Parra was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 7 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
  • On 09/17/2021 at 1:00 PM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department in reference to a suspicious incident that occurred at Green Valley Court on 09/16/2021, the Secaucus Police responded to Green Valley Court and arrested a 68 year old male, Alfred Viggiano of Secaucus, NJ for Unlawful Possession of Weapons [2C:39-5D], a hammer and Violation of the Regulatory Provisions relating to Permits to Purchase Firearms [2C:39-10A(1)].  Mr. Viggiano was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
  • On 09/18/2021 at 2:40 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 26 year old female, Valmesha Holmes of Union City, NJ for 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Glassboro, NJ with a total amount of $1,075.03 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $100.00.  The Police also arrested a 25 year old female, Taquaiza Smith of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Manalapan, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $1,500.00 with a 10% option.  Ms. Holmes was able to post bail for the warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ.  Glassboro did release Ms. Holmes on her own recognizance pending a future court date and she was released from police custody.  Both the Manalapan along with the Newark did release Ms. Smith on her own recognizance pending future court dates and she was released from police custody.        

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
