The Secaucus Police Department has released its weekly blotter, detailing a range of incidents that have taken place in the township over the past seven days.  Lt. Michael Viggiani provided the following information:

On Monday, officers were called to investigate a report of a stolen vehicle on Seaview Drive. The car was later found abandoned in a nearby parking lot, and the case remains under investigation.

Tuesday saw a number of arrests made, including one individual who was charged with possession of a controlled substance, and another who was arrested for driving under the influence.

On Wednesday, officers responded to a domestic disturbance on Oak Street, where a physical altercation had taken place between family members. No injuries were reported, and the situation was resolved without further incident.

Thursday saw another case of theft, with a resident reporting that their bicycle had been stolen from outside their home on Franklin Street.

The weekend was relatively quiet, with just a handful of incidents reported. On Saturday, officers responded to a noise complaint at a local apartment complex, and on Sunday, a resident reported a suspicious vehicle parked on their street.

The blotter serves as a reminder of the important work carried out by the Secaucus Police Department in keeping the township safe. Anyone with information about any of the incidents listed is encouraged to contact the department to assist with ongoing investigations.

All of the individuals involved in the above incidents are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
