Mayor Nicholas Sacco, Public Safety Commissioner Allen Pascual, and Chief of Police Peter Fasilis invite all residents to join North Bergen’s National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 2. A series of street parties will be held throughout the town as part of the celebration, featuring free food, beverages, music, and entertainment for all.
Night Out is a nationwide program designed to help build relationships between police and local communities in a fun, informal setting.
Mayor Sacco hosts the event in seven locations across North Bergen to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to join the celebration near their home. So come and spend a Night Out with your neighbors and local police officers at a location near you:
- Edificio de la Ciudad Mayor Lawler, 6121-6131 Grand Ave. (4-6 p.m.)
- Escuela Kennedy, 1210 11th St. (4:30-7:30 p.m.)
- Aldea de Meadowview, Avenida Meadowview (4:30-7:30 p.m.)
- Vivienda aplicada, 1108 26th St. (5-8 p.m.)
- Parking Municipal, 3725 Avenida Liberty (5-8 p.m.)
- Parque de la calle 88 (6:30-9:30 p.m.)
- Broadway entre las calles 73 y 76.
