Mayor Nicholas Sacco, Public Safety Commissioner Allen Pascual, and Chief of Police Peter Fasilis invite all residents to join North Bergen’s National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 2. A series of street parties will be held throughout the town as part of the celebration, featuring free food, beverages, music, and entertainment for all.
Night Out is a nationwide program designed to help build relationships between police and local communities in a fun, informal setting.
Mayor Sacco hosts the event in seven locations across North Bergen to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to join the celebration near their home. So come and spend a Night Out with your neighbors and local police officers at a location near you:
- Lawler Senior Citizen Building, 6121-6131 Grand Ave. (4-6 p.m.)
- Kennedy School, 1210 11th St. (4:30-7:30 p.m.)
- Meadowview Village, Meadowview Avenue (4:30-7:30 p.m.)
- Applied Housing, 1108 26th St. (5-8 p.m.)
- Municipal Parking Lot, 3725 Liberty Avenue (5-8 p.m.)
- 88th Street Park (6:30-9:30 p.m.)
- Broadway between 73rd and 76th Streets (6:30-9:30 p.m.)
